Overview:
HPE Bladesystem C-Class 40GB QSFP+ SR4 100M Transceiver is a transceiver module designed for use with HPE Bladesystem C-Class servers. It is a quad small form-factor pluggable (QSFP+) transceiver that supports 40 gigabit per second (Gbps) data transfer rates over multi-mode fiber (MMF) cables with a maximum distance of 100 meters.
This transceiver module is compliant with the QSFP+ MSA (multi-source agreement) and IEEE 802.3ba standard and is compatible with HPE ProLiant DL and BL servers as well as other third-party equipment that supports QSFP+ transceivers.
The product transceiver features four independent transmit and receive channels each capable of transmitting and receiving data at 10 Gbps. It also has a built-in digital diagnostics monitor that provides real-time status information including temperature voltage and laser bias current.
The transceiver is designed to be hot-pluggable meaning it can be inserted or removed from the server while it is powered on. It also features a built-in cooling mechanism to keep the transceiver at optimal operating temperature.
This transceiver module is also equipped with a digital optical monitoring (DOM) function which provides real-time monitoring of the transceivers optical parameters including laser bias current laser power and optical receive power. This allows for easy troubleshooting and maintenance of the transceiver.
